Natasha, the visionary behind SLOmads, is a true embodiment of a nature enthusiast and fearless explorer. She is a board-certified pediatrician,Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Instructor, and certified life coach. . With a fulfilling but demanding career spanning nearly two decades as a pediatrician in California, she made a life-altering decision to relocate with her family to Bali, Indonesia, initially for a year-long sabbatical. She had been living the "good life" in SLO (San Luis Obispo, California), but Bali offered her the opportunity to SLOw down, recover from burnout, and embark on a profound journey of self-discovery. Inspired by her transformative experience, she then founded SLOmads, curating immersive nature-based encounters that empower individuals to embrace their true potential. Natasha is now living her “best life” in Portugal with her family. She returns to California every summer to work as the camp doctor at Mountain Camp.
